The formative years, that period from birth through 8 years, are a crucial time in your child’s life. These years will define who the child is, as well as who they become in the future. At Highlands Academy, our mission is to give you a helping hand in that process. By providing a loving and nurturing environment, as well as plenty of educational stimulation and social interactions, we will set the stage for your child to have a successful life. With 20 + years of experience, and many heart-warming references from our parents, you can feel confident that your child is in good hands.

Highlands Academy is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. We are open year round, excluding the following closings for holidays:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day & Christmas Day.

Kindergarten Prep
Switching to Highlands Academy has been one of the best decisions we have ever made. When we were shopping around for new childcare, we talked to a Kindergarten teacher at our local school to see if students coming from Highlands Academy were prepared for Kindergarten. She told us students coming from Highlands Academy were very prepared and were some of the top performing students in her classes. Long-term Loving Care
I am not sure I have the words to express how thankful I am for all the staff at Highlands Academy. My son has been with Highlands since he was an itty bitty baby and I have always felt so at ease with the care he receives. He is always learning so much and is (mostly) well behaved, Highlands deserves a lot of the credit for that! These last couple years have been very challenging. Through it all Highlands Academy has done everything they can to ensure our children are safe and healthy, including having transparent communication as concerns arise.
